The Service Manager China is responsible for the development, executive and management of procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the China Service Department and third party service centers. The Service Manager is responsible for all activities related to the maintenance/repair, calibration, field service, and support for the company's offerings.
Essential Functions:-
- Business strategy
- Performance, metrics & reporting
- People management & employee development
- Operation & execution
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences
- Deep understanding and experience managing all aspects of a service business i.e. service cost centers (warranty related work) and service profit centers.
- Ability to deal with customers where tact may be required to maintain harmonious relationships.
- High energy level with ability to take initiative.
- Proven reasoning abilities & sound judgement
- Process oriented, with demonstrated attention to details. Delivering on time results to support business goals.
- Teamwork oriented with collaborative style.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years as service manager.
- Must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- EMC experience is required. Knowledge of high-voltage equipment and / or high frequency is preferred
- Willingness to travel at least 10% of work month
- Customer focused with customer service orientation
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively in English
- Computer fluent, with specific attention to email, Microsoft Office product skills; ERP and service utilization tools.
