Description:
- Make decisions that support delivery on time to our customers in alignment with business priorities. Provide flexible solutions if customers have changes.
- Good understand and create or manipulate raw materials, bills of material, routes, and other manufacturing data (such as safety stocks and re-order quantities).
- Understand the Material Resource Planning (MRP) process and utilize computer based MRP/ERP systems
- Review and confirm new sales orders in ERP system with promise dates that manufacturing can meet, and interface with all local/remote associates in cross-function that impact DOT.
- Warehouse Coordination & Management, and Inventory System Training to Associates
- Drive continuous improvement in the Buyer and Planner roles and ensure data integrity in the ERP system
- Suggest, implement, and maintain improvements to the existing planning / inventory infrastructure.
- Understand the basic manufacturing process for all products - to the extent that it improves the competency to plan product.
- Global Travel & Development of Network with Planners

Qualifications:
- University graduate Degree in Manufacturing, Operations or Logistics
- 5 years + working experience in production& material planning, and vendors management in a senior capacity in big multinational manufacturing companies is preferred. Having the experience in leading the team is preferred.
- Good understanding of MRP/ERP system
- Strong supply & Demand management skill (Data analysis and scenario modelling..etc)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level.
- Strong ability to drive implementation plans and schedules.
- Experience in overseas purchasing will be an advantage.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
