职位描述：
POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for developing SFP/SFP+, QSFP/QSFP28, next gen. high speed pluggable connectors products to support strategic plan of Company Access BU. Responsibility includes new products design, simulation and testing. The specialist serves as the BU’s expertise for innovation and technical resource for grooming engineering talent.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1.Technological lead in new SFP and QSFP products design, simulation and testing development utilizing new structure and testing concepts, materials, and packaging.
2.Develop and maintain products and testing standards to ensure consistency and high success rate in new products performances, and meet customer requirements.
3.Remains vigilant of competitive development on new products and improve Company’s reputation with regard to process solutions provided to customer base.
4.Monitor key performances related to process standardization and testing standardization and mechanical component standardization, new product launch rating, quality and responsiveness.
5.Train engineering resources to maintain and retain engineering talent within the organization.
6.Work with materials suppliers, customers and manufacturing operations to remain abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and product applications.


INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

1.Work closely with marketing department and plant engineering department
2.Work closely with Product Managers
3.Contact with suppliers & customers
4.Contact with outside organizations ( test labs and standards organizations)


CHALLENGES:

1.Lead engineers to keep pace with customer demands.
2.Remain abreast of latest improvement in material and manufacturing processes for designing products meeting customer requirements.
3.Achieve excellent level of customer satisfaction.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
1.A minimum of 8 years experience in SFP+, QSFP/QSFP28 engineering design and manufacturing
2.Some supervisory experience a plus
3.Excellent understanding of high speed pluggable connectors industry, standard, patents, signal integrity, EM simulation and testing.
4.Computer literacy including Word, Excel, CAD, HFSS
5.Excellent command of National language for operation assigned as well as English language.
6.Manufacturing experience


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
