职位描述：
Application Engineer (PMIC)
Location: Chengdu, China
The Application Engineer (AE) interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Design Engineering with a focus on customer application support and product road test.
 
Detailed Responsibilities:
-Support customer applications by designing, building and testing custom demonstration and reference design circuits to meet customer specifications to support the sales of IDT’s PMIC products.
-Create customer demo boards to develop new business in different markets.
-Perform schematics, layout reviews for new customer design wins, and on-site trouble shooting to meet customers’ development schedule.
-Perform PMIC products road test and make reports.
-Write product datasheets with applications section, applications notes, design articles and demo board manuals with all text, graphs and diagrams.
-Provide feedbacks for new product ideas to help developing new products, or new derivatives of existing products.
 
Requirements:
-MSEE with 5+ years experiences in power management applications in the area of board level DC-DC applications, such Buck converter, Boost converter, Flyback converter, etc.
-Familiar with post silicon debug and test.
-Good understanding of power electronics topology, control theory. Customer supporting experiences in both consumer and/or industry markets are required.
-Strong lab test and measurement skills required to characterize new products and design application circuit solutions. Good experiences of directing PCB layout of high frequency DC-DC regulators or power management ICs.
-Experience with serial communication protocols, such as I2C, is required.
-Strong communications skills and open to travel as necessary.
-Experience using LabView to perform bench characterization and road test automation. 举报 分享
