JOB TITLE: Finance Manager
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORT TO: Finance Director

JOB PURPOSE
To manage the finance/accounting department and assist the Finance Director to fulfill the financial targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
? Direct and manage the day-to-day accounting activities, such as AP, AR, GL, inter-company etc ensuring compliance with group and local accounting policies and guidelines.
? Manage and ensure monthly accounts closing is completed with high accuracy and within time frame.
? Ensure monthly account reconciliations are completed, reviewed and any issues rectified on a timely basis.
? Provide interpretations, analysis of the business performance and recommendations to facilitate management decision making.
? Provide support in respect of service and data provision to all departments to support the business achievement and growth.
? Institute and maintain planning and control procedures in compliance with BSI internal policies as well as external applicable legislation
? Oversee BSI China legal entities tax functions including tax filing, payment, tax accounting and tax benefit application.
? Preparation of the forecast and annual budget;
? Ensure group and local accounting policies are timely and effectively implemented;
? Liaise closely with the internal and external auditors to handle audit matters;
? Cash management including close monitor of the trade debtor position, collection ensuring minimal bad debt occurrence;
? Lead the accounting team in staff development, continuously providing coaching, training and performance management
? Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Director on an ad hoc basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES):
? University degree majoring in finance and accounting.
? 7 years working experience in accounting with at least 2 years in the supervisory position managing financial reporting and planning and tax matters.
? Good command of accounting principles and local regulations, e.g. PRC GAAP, tax law, company law;
? With a high level of personal and professional integrity, the successful candidate should demonstrate commitment and experience in developing best practices in customer focused and process-based organizations.
? Proactive, sense of urgency and ability to drive for timely completion of work and assignments.
? Proven ability to build-up relevant and useful contacts internally and externally.
? Ability to formulate, communicate and present ideas with self-confidence.
? Hands-on staff management with experience of coaching and developing staff.
? With 3 years or more practical experience with ERP system, in particular SAP will be preferred.
? Experience in online reporting system such as Cognos or Hyperion.
? Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
