职位描述：
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS:
? Focus on Total Cost of Ownership
? Negotiate best possible pricing
? Be familiar with market status, trends and roadmap
? Implement price reduction programs according to: Item, Supplier, Product lines
? Actively Drive Best Cost Countries Sourcing(BCCS)
Concurrent Engineering
Partner with R&D and Engineering groups from defining or enhancing a product to transferring to Manufacturing until design and price are final.
Sourcing
Be Familiar with the relevant markets in order to find alternative suppliers and/or products to those already qualified in Orbotech by benchmarking, reading professional literature, visiting relevant websites and exhibitions and auditing alternative suppliers.

Lean
Establish as many Lean processes as possible, e.g. VMI, DFT etc.
Hands-On Supplier Management
Ensure that suppliers perform at a high level of excellence in all aspects of the business such as:
? Quality of design and manufacturing
? Time to Market and On Time Delivery performance for design, manufacturing and service
? Technology roadmap
? Total Cost
? Responsiveness, Management Focus
? Field support and Service
? Continuous improvement of all aspects
? This shall be achieved by using approved Purchasing processes and procedures

Contracting
? Legal Contracts - Work with Legal Council in order to negotiate and implement development, supply and service agreements – Where needed.
? ERP Contracts - Ensure efficient closure of all aspects of the business relationships in the Oracle System by implementing all relevant parameters such as Blanket, Price, Lead time, Batch Size, Warranty etc. so that the day to day activity can be independently managed by the Product Line Buyer .
Global Cooperation
Use Global Category Teams reporting structure in order to synchronize Orbotech global efforts and leverage the overall purchasing activities of Orbotech.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

? Previous experience as a purchasing leader or Technology expert in similar companies.
? Experienced with a senior-level negotiation.
? Involved in large scale amounts purchase transactions.
? Understanding of Technology terms and processes.
? Familiarity with the Electronics market – An asset
? Engineering experience- An asset
EDUCATION:

? Academic Education (Engineering / Economics / Legal / Management).
? Business degree (MBA) – An asset.
