Major responsibilities:

·Coordination of the purchasing activities within manufacturing, facilities and engineering departments to acquire materials and services in the cost effective and timely manner to meet the business objectives.

·Processes purchase requisitions, purchase orders and requests for quotes to suppliers.

·Responsible for procurement business system data input, integrity and monitors the cost, schedule and scope of purchase orders.

·Negotiate with suppliers and subcontracts to achieve highest quality at best value to the organization.

·To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

·This position requires a good working knowledge and experience of ERP and CMP systems and a basic procurement systems, policies and conventions relating to domestic and international procurement.

·This position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, interpret financial data in diagrammatic, tabular , and text formats.
