Responsibilities:

Check all incoming artwork:

- Download all artwork from masterfile

- Check that colors are correct for printing (colors converted to CMYK, spot colors called out, correct ICC profile used)

- If artwork should follow a style guide, check that artwork is correct and matches style guide

- Write notes to factory to help ensure better color matching, such as call out spot colors, special printing or color matching instructions, paper specs, ink specs

-Check photograph to make sure it matches product colors

-When file is correct, post artwork to FTP, burn CD for factory and print out wetproof to send to factory

-If files were incorrect, revise file and send email to Dallas design dept to explain the problem

Confirm final printouts from factory:

-Check and approve final proofs from factory for product artwork and color boxes

-Cleary communicate any adjustments factory needs to make for production

-If necessary, travel to the printer at the time of printing

Confirm all color matching:

-Check and approve color matching for products, including paint, melamine, paper, veneer, silkscreen

-Clearly communicate any adjustments to factory if necessary

Requirements:
1. University or college graduate, major in arts area is preferred;
2. 5-year working experience in related fields;
3. Familiar in using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, have basic concept over Printing progress;
4. Good command in writing & speaking in English;
