Description
Fabrics Division is looking for a proven product development engineer to be part of the R&D team in SZ plant. As a member of a cross-functional global team, your main responsibility will be to develop and commercialize new fabric laminate products as required by the business, i.e. champion for whole new project schedule and progress such as clarifying the targets, driving trials and tests, troubleshooting the development issues and recommend path forward plans and as well driving review meetings with X-functional associates in SZ and overseas.
In the plant, you will work closely with R&D peers, process engineers, lab, quality, and vendor teams and production to ensure new products meet performance and quality requirements. Regarding customer requirements and development direction, you will partner with market teams based in US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. As such, you will be the champion of this global team to ensure new products are developed at Shenzhen plant on time. Finally, you will need to have a broad understanding of Gore’s product and process technology.

Qualifications
? Bachelor+ or equivalent, major in textile, chemical or mechanical engineering are preferred.
? Proven track record of success in driving NPI or NPD with cross-functional teams.
    ？ Experimentation capability
         ？Design of Experiment experience;
         ？Validation capability (figure out process window, and make it stable at production).
    ？ Trouble shooting capability
         ？Identify uncertainty, insight into problem, and gain alignment cross functions;
         ？Implement and address uncertainty.
    ？ Coordination capability
         ？Coordinate not only SZ plant level, but also global level;
         ？Capable to coordinate complex program, e.g. new technology new capability creation, multiple functions coordination, remove barrier…..
? Good communication skills
    ？ Fluent in oral and written English;
    ？ Experience in applying communication skills in conflict handling, gaining support, building consensus and facilitate meetings in multi-national company context.
