Principle Accountabilities:

This role is to support the food contact and Materials requirements to increase the efficiency for updating of reports and any additional requirements relating to materials.

Support and manage the work in the Food contact(FC) section and support other departmental duties when requested.

• Have good experience and learn to operate SAP system and use of computer systems like Excel and spread sheets.
• Preparing materials and checking paperwork for Material’s submission to test labs.
• Checking and acting upon received FC reports from test labs
• Manage and update of test records and costs for FC.
• Uploading of FC reports into SAP and checking all files uploaded correctly.
• Monitoring FC reports schedules from brands quality owners
• Controlling documentation and products for updating of FC reports to Delonghi Group procedures
• Assist with Corrective action management of any food contact requirements
• Understanding all food contact changes for all countries regulations.
• Assist with supporting supplier requirements in terms of data, test results.
• Provide regular feedback on food contact status of Group products.
• Assist in manging test programs for material investigation for testing including aging tests and UV tests and dishwasher and life test requirements.
• Assist in supporting and maintaining quality controls, procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Supporting role for colour control in all suppliers for all brands
• Assist in general office paperwork and report writing and shipping of samples.
• Monthly update of all corrective actions analysis for the Delonghi Group CA data base.

2. Test house liaison

4. Recording and maintaining records as applicable

5. Presentations of findings, summary and conclusions

1. Computer and office equipment as required by the role.

2. Electrical and mechanical test equipment as required by the role.

Quality Assurance Manager (Asia) and QAA team, All Brands Quality Managers and Quality Conformance Engineers, Standards & Approvals Manager and team, Environmental Manager, Quality Co-ordinator and Senior Quality Managers.

- Outside the Department

Marketing personnel, Sales personnel, Engineering personnel, Project Managers, Logistics department, Accounts department and all relevant Delonghi Brand Quality Managers, owners and engineers

- Outside the Company

Suppliers, External test providers, Consultants, subsidiaries and agencies - where applicable.

KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

1. Good English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking and written skills.

2. Good understanding of SAP systems and food contact requirements

3. Willing to learn and apply new techniques to improve

4. 3+ years experience in quality, design or development role (preferably with household electro-mechanical products and some knowledge of Food Contact).

5. Computer literate.

6. Able to work under pressure.

7. Able to work with others.

8. Organised and disciplined approach to work.
