职位描述：
Job Summary:
Locating in Shanghai, Application Specialist is the technical resource for distributor sales reps and serves as a liaison to assist FasTest US understanding the engineering challenges selling speciality connectors in China. He/She is responsible for actively driving and managing the product specification stage of the selling process, products implementation, and after-sales customer satisfaction. Working in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager as the Chinese business advocate, the Application Specialist must be able to communicate and resolve technical issues with the US office and capitalize local manufacturing problems to assure business expansion in China.

Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to …):
1. Maintain high level of product and application knowledge
2. Facilitate communication between FasTest US, channel partners, project integrators, and end users for all applications ensuring information is correct and adequate
3. Listen and observe actively to identify true nature of customer requests and be able to convey them to FasTest US correctly
4. Provide technical assistance to distributor sales representatives
5. For key accounts, ensure products are properly installed and operated within specifications and, proactively, evaluate users experience at the beginning
6. Document applications in English and Chinese: describe the applications, identify local challenges and operational differences comparing to US market
7. Identify new business opportunities and assist in product development to secure future growth of the business
8. Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with FasTest US, channel partners, project integrators, and end users
9. Be available for travel 40% and willing to work outside of normal office hour

Experience and Qualifications Required:
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or General Engineering
2. 3-6 years hands-on work experience with local customers and suppliers outside of China
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese, English proficiency level minimum at high-intermediate
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to seamlessly work across different culture
5. Highly self-motivated and dependable, capable to work as part of a team while being productive working alone
6. Require persistence in the face of obstacles, and possess a high degree of integrity
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office
8. (Preferred and not required) Working knowledge of leak/pressure testing, automobile manufacturing, or machine parts manufacturing
