Job description
Responsibilities:
ICBC IA Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identification, development, and assessment of ICBC opportunities for potential engagements. The individual should have a thorough understanding of the nature of business priorities in ICBC, and the products and solutions that provide values in meeting the clients business needs. The individual is knowledgeable in the banking business and familiar with marketplace/players. The individual will need to have the ability to engage in strategic conversations with both senior business and IT executives, including being able to articulate the value of IT solutions and how it can be a strategic enabler to assist ICBC in achieving their business goals.
Build executive and senior management relationships in ICBC, particularly with line of business.
Identify and prioritize value-creation opportunities based on solid understanding of the client's strategic vision, performance gaps, and short and long-term goals
Translate and convey client business needs into tangible business and IT solutions
Manage major opportunities and business development efforts, coordinating across service lines
Assess accuracy and completeness of valuation and value analyses
Identify key cost and value drivers and be comfortable in presenting their priority/influence on ICBC business performance
Primary Measurement: Contract Signings performance; Business development metric such as pipeline of qualified business.
Required Skills:
10+ years experience working in banking sector or leading solution provider
Keen understanding of banking industry processes, best practices, and IT systems with the ability to have strategic conversations with both IT and business executives
Passion for the banking industry along with the intellectual capacity to engage the vision of senior level executives on transformational changes in the banking industry
High-energy, self-motivated individual who is able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, in addition to working in a collaborative fashion across multiple business units
Ability to develop and articulate an effective flow of ideas and information that creates a climate of innovations
Proven combination of leadership and communication skills
Fluent in speaking Chinese and English

· Bachelor's Degree
· At least 10 years experience in banking
· At least 5 years experience in sales experience
