The Alliance Senior Director will leverage existing personal and professional networks of business contacts and relations including, digital agencies, system integrators, global consultancies, and similar service providers’ models to help drive SDL revenue. As an active Director, you will be responsible for business development.

You will work collaboratively alongside the Regional Sales VP, Vertical Leadership, Sales Executives, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and SDL Professional Services (PS). You report into the Global VP Partnerships & Alliances.
Experience in the following disciplines is relevant:
? Sales, entrepreneurship, channel management, consulting and marketing
? Orchestration and alignment of teams (internally and externally)
? Web content management, language technologies (e.g. machine translation, localization solutions)
? Systems integrators, large consultancies and digital agencies

The Senior Alliance Director position requires a creative thinker with a pragmatic, “can do” attitude. High organizational, presentation, analytical, communication and business planning skills. A team player.
The Senior Alliance Director is a results orientated person who can position partners to serve existing customers, can create and drive relationships (existing and to be created) towards alignment of interests, agreement on objectives and action plans and ensures the action plans are executed.

Key Responsibilities:
? Promote the SDL creating incremental license revenues for SDL solutions
? Attract, recruit, develop, educate and manage an efficient sales channel, and service delivery through partners to the installed base
? Materially contribute to license targets and increase channel satisfaction thru retention and growth annually
? Management of system reporting, dashboards and funnel analysis thru Salesforce.com
? Leadership in creating business plans and negotiating agreements between parties
? Effectively create/edit and deliver in person presentations and/or via web presentations using Skype or similar technologies
? Participate in industry trade shows and conferences
? Comprehensive understanding, interpret and ability to re-communicate content technology, language technology and digital platform technology market trends
? Advocate cross divisional success within SDL group level business units and technologies or solutions

Key Requirements:
? High degree of industry knowledge related to content management technologies (e.g. structured content and web content management), localization solutions, design agencies, co-marketing alliance programs and reseller programs
? Have a strong & relevant business network from which to draw interest and results quickly.
? Technical agility, the ability to be technically capable in business meetings; qualify opportunities based on technology attributes and deliver high level presentations speaking to SDL solution ecosystems and vocabulary.
? Confidently create, edit, manage and present information leveraging Microsoft Office tools
? Strong organizational skills to reduce channel conflicts
? Strong ability to work independently
? Masterful written and verbal communication skills
? High standard of professionalism and ethics
? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
