Title: Postdoctoral researcher

1. The Department of electrical and electronic engineering (PI: dr. Elina Iervolino) at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is seeking qualified candidates for a postdoc position in GaN-based sensor systems with the focus on GaN-based MEMS.

Position Requirements

· You have a PhD. degree in microelectronics, applied mathematics, or electrical engineering.

· You have knowledge of physic semiconductors and micro/nano mechanical structures design.

· Clean room fabrication skills are a plus.

 

We expect that the candidate has previous experience with project management and coordination. We expect the candidate to have an excellent command of English language as well as professional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

· research on GaN system and high temperature materials.

2. The Department of electrical and electronic engineering (PI: dr. Elina Iervolino) at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is seeking qualified candidates for a postdoc position to work forwards the understanding of the current temperature and mechanical limits of GaN-based systems and to look beyond to discover new application areas.

Position Requirements

· You have a PhD. degree in microelectronics, applied mathematics, or electrical engineering.

· You have knowledge of physic semiconductors and micro/nano mechanical structures modelling.

 

We expect that the candidate has previous experience with project management and coordination. We expect the candidate to have an excellent command of English language as well as professional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
High temperature reliability, modelling, electro/mechanical and optical characterization.
Define and implement new tests (including designing new test devices and defining test conditions) to study specific failure mechanisms.
