Product Developer (Footwear)东莞地区

Job Summary:
Responsible for the end to end product development and commercialization of a wide range of footwear products from design through sample creation to sample finalization. The role encompasses new technology, vendor and materials sourcing, and technical skills related to product development and to drive the high quality of products in a cost effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:
? Partners with merchants, design office and the US sourcing organization to deliver fully corrected samples for review with SHG teams.
? Conduct regular research of market and factory offerings and commercialize design concepts for development of various categories of footwear items and bring about new business opportunities to the company.
? Actively provide innovative ideas on materials and components as well as exploring new techniques to achieve design concepts successfully with products in high quality from pattern to sample making, fitting and mold development in each season.
? Closely interface with designers and merchandising teams to inspire vision for each season
? Formulate effective plan, translate and communicate these ideas with all suppliers and factories while ensuring smooth production.
? Identify opportunities and implement effective strategies on achieving cost, quality and process enhancement to deliver desired results in footwear business.
 
Job Requirements:
? A recognized higher diploma or above in related discipline
? At least 8 years relevant experience in sizeable sourcing companies which at least 3 years at supervisory level
? Strong business acumen and fashion senses in footwear products
? Strong vendor and materials sourcing base
? Excellent in problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
? Required to be based in China

Preferred Skills:
? Good command in spoken and written English. Mandarin is a plus.
? Familiar with computer skills in Design Software, Outlook, Word and Excel 举报 分享
