Key responsibilities
Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvement
? Coordinate all China QC inspection activities, including scheduling of jobs
? Conduct QC inspections
? Produce QC reports as needed
? Direct all Quality Control and Compliance activities
? Facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement
? Creation of programmes and systems to improve current practises
Team leader/ People Management
? Able to manage a team remotely
? Conduct weekly team briefings
? Conduct performance appraisals and provide guidance
? Assist in the development of team objectives, strategies and budgets.
? Enhance internal communication.
? Provide disciplinary action if needed
Background/Experience
? Experience working in a manufacturing environment
? 5 years hand on experience in gift ware/ kitchen products
? Ability to communicate ideas and procedures well both in written and oral form
? Able to speak fluent English and write in English.
? At least 5 years’ experience in team management
? Good people skills
? Practical understanding in product testing and analysis
? Good understanding of the principles and application of Quality Control
? Eye for detail
? Able to use Excel, Word and Outlook
