Operational Excellence
? To manage and coach efficient and productive operation and customer service team;
? To review staff to ensure KPI’s are achieved as per the personal objectives
? To support Operational Excellence where appropriate.
? To ensure SOPs are in place and performance is meeting/exceeding targets
? Work as part of a team in conjunction with relevant managers to make trade-offs required to maximize overall profitability consistent with business unit requirements.
? To handle customers’ complaint if any, and deal with issues encountered in daily works.
Business Planning and Development
? Ensure an annual business plan is in place and executed
? To manage & develop team dealing with major accounts to achieve company revenue target.
? Ensure staff are trained to ensure (potential) customer contacts are aware of the company’s value proposition
? Ensure new opportunities are identified, the necessary support is mobilized in order to convert these opportunities and implement the contract on a ‘zero-defect basis’
? To develop & support depots to gain new accounts/ lapsed accounts
? To quote competitive rate to agents for business needs To support depots build up & maintain close relationship with major accounts.
Other Administrative & Finance Responsibility
? Empowered with authority to approve payment; To audit financial statements
? To communicate with overseas regarding global major accounts bidding, problem solving & etc. within core products area
? To implement company’s new policies, product development, leading team
? To be responsible for the staff hiring, KPI index conduction, staff performance evaluation, office normal routine works.
? To make the necessary monthly report
Job Requirements
Knowledge
- Deep international experience of transport and logistics.
- Some years marketing sales / account management experience preferably
- International Express or Logistics industry background preferable
- Organizational awareness (structure and products & services)
- Market sector awareness including supply chain structures, developments and
requirements
Skill
- Good understanding of sector issues in the global forwarding industry and knowledge on Ocean freight, Air freight and business models;
- Customer management experience
- Ability to identify customer needs by gathering information and building long-term relationships
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills...
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong inter-personal skills and leadership
- High caliber in planning, organizing and controlling
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Team management
