JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Specialist works closely with the VP of Operations on designing, executing, and implementing initiatives that directly improve business efficiencies. You will be exposed to every facet of the company and be required to problem-solve on a daily basis across a multitude of different processes, systems, and departments.
You should be able to receive projects from the VP of Operations and “run with it”, including: getting clarity where necessary, planning and strategizing a course of action as a team or independently, obtaining necessary approvals, through to execution and revision/optimizations.
This means it is absolutely mandatory that:
1. you have a very strong ability in clearly understanding high-level strategy/direction
2. you can quickly translate this strategy into an actionable plan
3. and most importantly, you have the acumen and discipline to execute or implement the plan successfully with little to no supervision

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Chinese and English, has very strong business background, and is highly analytical, resourceful, and able to drive projects independently.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIE(S):
? Responsible for driving assigned operations initiatives to completion
? Projects and tasks range from efficiency optimization of processes, to designing/architecting tech-based solutions
? Contributes as a core member of the operations team
? Acts as a supporting role for all departments with focuses on operational fluidity and efficiency in order to meet company goals and objectives
? Reports into the VP of Operations
JOB REQUIREMENT(S):
? Required language(s): Chinese – Fluent, English – Fluent.
? Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or have minimum 3 years working experience.
? However, degrees and experience are not as important as intelligence, motivation, and integrity
? Must be able to work independently while driving progress through multiple departments
? Incredible work-ethic and communication skills are a must have
? Able to think critically to solve problems without guidance
? Able to independently identify potential issues before they happen
? Proactive personality that doesn’t wait to act – must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
? Must be able to manage high levels of work stress
? Able to drive high-risk projects to completion successfully
