职位描述：
Job Function: Quality Assurance Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance
a. Regular communication with factories & test labs
b. Follow up deadlines including test samples, test reports, etc.
c. Visit factories as required China wide
2. Factory Sourcing / Evaluation
a. Determine factory capability/suitability
b. Conduct preliminary audits
c. Report findings to relevant Quality Engineer / Product Manager / Sourcing Manager
3. Sample Evaluation
a. Order, track and check in samples
b. Sample testing to standard set by Australian Engineer
c. Completion of testing checklists including product images & videos
d. Arranging sample shipments to Australia / test labs as required
4. Production compliance
a. Completion of formal quotations including testing standards
b. Negotiation / communication with factory and test labs to follow up queries, sample testing during production
5. QA Testing Schedule
a. Managing internal testing schedule
b. Preparing internal test reports / performance
c. Feedback testing results to relevant Product Manager / Sourcing Manager
d. Feedback improvement plan / requirements direct to factories
6. Adhoc Duties
a. Follow up and visit with factories where required
b. Other duties from time to time as required
c. Attend trade shows as required
Requirements:
1. Excellent English / Mandarin, both written and oral. Cantonese regarded
2. Experience with compliance requirements for electrical and hard goods for Australia and USA, Europe regarded
3. Ability to understand compliance test reports
4. Ability to use testing equipment and interpret results
5. Experience with ethical sourcing audits and requirements
6. Experience with managing QA and following testing processes
7. Excellent attention to detail
8. Strong problem solving skills
9. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
10. Ability to manage priorities and expectations from multiple stake holders
11. Computer skills including MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
12. Degree qualification in an Engineering or related discipline is advantageous
13. Honest and ethical work practices
14. Professional & well presented
15. Experience working with consumer electronics and/or kitchen appliances. Furniture, hardware, pet accessories, gardening also regarded
16. Experience working with a Western company


Winplus Australasia:
Winplus Australasia is a Product Development company based in Melbourne, Australia, selling a wide variety of consumer products to retailers in Australia and USA.
This position will be in our established China office located in Luohu district, Shenzhen. Your primary responsibilities will be focussed on production tasks, new sourcing opportunities, testing and evaluating product samples.
You will report to the China Office Sourcing Manager and will regularly communicate by email, skype and phone with the Australian team.
You will be expected to travel regularly to factories in other Provinces in China and occasionally to Australia. This role may require overnight stays for 1-10 days at a time.
