Factory Manager
Stationed in Shenzhen
CV must be submmited with both Chinese and English.
Broad Arrow Limited is a Hong Kong company that manufacturers own branded metal components and products at its self owned factory in Southern China, the factory employs between 20 to 30 staff in total. We are inviting a high calibre individual to join our dynamic team as the factory manager, you must be a Positive minded problem solver, with good initiative a good communicator who is organized and systematic with good leadership skills has a good understanding of the balance of fairness and business needs.
The factory manager will be responsible for the overall performance and general management of factory operations to ensure optimization of manufacturing in terms of quality, quantity and inventory level

Reports to:
The China Factory manager works closely with
1. The director of product development: Ongoing Improvement of QA program and production efficiencies
2. The Hong Kong Operations manager: Improving and maintaining operational efficiency and provide reporting as needed
3. The product development manager: To oversee product development by factory technical staff
4. Finance department: Cost management, budget preparations and provide reporting as needed

Key performance indicators
? On time delivery and meet or exceed QA requirements for in-house and outsourced production
? Meeting Profit and loss targets
? Timely management of all communication and reporting
? Target specific operational functions and implement measurable efficiency improvements in these areas
? Effective and accurate management of all aspects of factory administration
? Effective management of employee hiring, performance tracking, review and release procedures
? Meet project deadlines
Responsibilities
? Improve and maintain production and QA management procedures and documentation
? On time delivery of products
? Oversee safety training, equipment and fire safety, and ensure safe operating practices are maintained at the factory
? Manage daily, weekly and monthly production planning meetings
? Lead production planning to ensure optimum use of workers and equipment for the most efficient production output
? Lead initiatives to reduce reject rates in all areas of production
? Review, examine and generate the appropriate procedures and flows for the plant operation to continuously reduce costs and improve productivity and efficiency
? Monitor PMC warehouse and inventory planning to ensure factory meets minimum and maximum inventory levels and inventory budgets and turn rates
? Oversee management of semi finished goods and finished goods inventory in and out bound
? Oversee management of warehouse operations and rolling stock takes
? Setting up and maintaining factory administration procedures and manual guidelines so all administration matters can be managed legally while limiting any liabilities against the company
? Ensure factory meets local compliance, labor laws, fire, health and safety, insurance renewals etc
? Setting up and maintaining effective factory HR hiring, review and release procedures and documentation
? Manage factory staff organisational chart, job descriptions and KPI’s and annual review procedures
? Manage factory staff employment contract and administration processing
? Set up and implement factory staff work flow tracking and production incentive program
? Oversee correct management of import and export functions
? Oversee setup and maintenance of company departmental operational manual
? Oversee accurate component and product testing as needed
? Problem solving on process and technical issues
? Ensuring company standards for quality, function and reducing environmental impact are met
? Coordinating activities in servicing, maintenance, machinery, tooling systems and equipment
? Liaise with various departments to meet the company’s goal and targets

Requirements

? 10 years relevant working experience in overall factory operations, with at least 3-5 years in running a factory in China
? Bachelor of science or engineering a minimum, in metal or mechanical related field preferred
? Strong initiative and people management skills
? 6 days work at Shenzhen factory and can return to HK once per week.
? Strong technical knowledge in metal stamping and processing is a must
? Excellent in factory production management
? Strong people management skills and business sense
? Organized and systematic with good leadership skills
? Familiar with China laws on customs, taxation and labour and business regulations and practices of local government officials
? Sound knowledge on international quality standard such as ISO
? Hands-on enough to follow through the projects and manage the daily operations
? Good knowledge of computers and business software, including ERP software
? Good knowledge of office IT and computer networking
? Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin
? Willing to work in Shenzhen (Location Hang Gang In Shenzhen Southern China)

? Moving to 5 day working week with possible 4 days at the factory and 1 day at the Hong Kong office
