职位描述：
Key Responsibilities:

1) Product compliance solution & product safety control
-？ Champions corrective product safety and compliance supporting to build partnership with all cross-functional counterparts (Sourcing team and Product manager, Engineer and Quality, etc) to ensure successful product commercialization activities;
-？ Proactively involve from the PRD (Product requirement documents) initial stage for compliance investigation, give optimize compliance solution, risk analysis result on product and schedule, define safety play to align with cross-functional teams until finalization before formal award to vendor;
-？ Perform safety assurance capability audit for vendors produce high safety risk SKUs;
-？ Collaborate with vendor, work out compliance schedule, follow up and validate schedule. Collect and validate certificate/report;
-？ Perform high safety risk product safety design review in commercialization stage, provide recommendation for correction and make sure all safety issues been closed before mass production;
-？ Monitor manufactures process, arrange safety random test on 1st shipment and on-going shipment, get result, analysis result and work out solution, communicate with cross-functional team for test result and solution;
-？ Collaborate with internal & external resources to finish audit/check/test then generate the report accordingly, report should be well organized and easy to understand by all stakeholders as well as follow up;
-？ Follow up the issues in report and drive vendors to provide root cause analysis, action plan to do improvement;

2) Project management and timeline control
-？ Generate the <<compliance and safety status update>> , work out time frame for compliance schedule and each safety plays;
-？ Keep follow up and regularly update all stakeholders with status which may remind everyone to take certain actions;
-？ Be sensitive on the schedule especially milestones during product lifecycle, timely send out alert and work with team to find solution to remove barriers;
-？ Be skillful at using certain project management tools;

3) Vendor safety assurance capability development and management
-？ During sourcing stage, need to inform new vendor briefly on Best Buy ExB product and Direct Import product compliance requirement, safety requirement as well as safety play in each product develop process, etc;
-？ Vendor safety and quality team training in terms of Best Buy ExB safety control requirement in R&D, IQC, Production line, OQC; ECN control and routine test as well as safety lab management, if any, to make sure vendor safety and quality engineer know the requirement; Direct Import safety control requirement and process;
-？ Drive vendor to improve R&D and production process to fulfill Best Buy ExB requirement;
-？ Regular vendor scorecard rating and review meetings for continuous improvement;
-？ Issues statistics report and check out each vendor strength and weakness summary which act as important data & facts for future business;

4) Build product knowledge and professional skills in product safety and compliance for team
-？ Initially to do investigation on new regulation requirements in certain field to see if there is optimize solution for ExB products and Direct Import products and provide proposal to cross-functional team;
-？ Initially to do investigation on optimize product safety control process in certain filed and provide proposal to cross-functional team
-？ Build solid relationship with 3rd parties in certain field and keep product manager, sourcing team updated with latest compliance and product safety to support planning product roadmap accordingly;
-？ Share knowledge and experience within group to enhance team capability and act as professional support on certain field for product engineer;

5) Incident research and solution development.
-？ Analyze the incident cases and investigate the data in market;
-？ Work with vendor and 3rd party to do research of incident cause analysis;
-？ Drive and develop programs to avoid/minimum the risk of product incident at foremost period.

6) 3rd party management
-？ 3rd party training in terms of Best Buy ExB product develop process and Direct import process, to make sure 3rd party know Best Buy needs
-？ Check out each 3rd party’s capability and strength, use it as important data & facts for service selection;
-？ Regular 3rd party scorecard rating and review meetings for continuous improvement;

7) ECR coordination and miscellaneous
-？ Coordinate with all stakeholders for compliance and product safety action until ECR complete when it is necessary to go;
-？ Support global markets business expanding;
-？ New compliance requirement study;

Requirements:

? 5 Yrs of product safety and related regulatory laws
? 4 Yrs Product electrical/mechanical experiences for consumer products in a manufacturing, retail, or certifications company preferred.
? 2 Yrs program/project management experience
? Good inter-personal skills;
? Able to self-manage as well as work within a team environment, must be a self-starter;
? Good MS office skills;
? Excellent English on both oral and written;
? Passionate;
