Core Accountabilities:
1. Support buying manager to understand the category consumer, customers and markets and spend time in markets, channels and events where consumers participate to identify and communicate business opportunities internally & externally
2. Support buying manager to initiate category growing strategy by building insights of sell-in & sell-out trend in relation to product launch time, types, and pricing preference of key markets, consumers and channels.
3. Propose seasonal range selection and determine by category buying manager according to product strategy by managing the entry and accuracy of article (style) information in the Range Tracker system and facilitate the system interface with the local MLP (Master Line Plan) file on a timely and regular basis
4. Propose & translating seasonal product stories & information into sales tools for local seasonal sales conference.
5. Support and conduct category sample ordering and management
6. Support buying manager to manage Korea merchandising
7. Be the category product expert to train the trainer (BSA) and communicate to PR agency to share seasonal product initiatives, stories, technologies and USP (unique selling points)
Key Outputs:
1. Support buying manager to get seasonal SWOT of market (consumers/competitors/channels) related to assigned Gender / Category business
2. Seasonal presentation for sales meeting & local conference to deliver product feature/information to sales team and customers
3. Create, translate and maintain product feature/information of accuracy to assigned Gender / Category
4. Seasonal sales tools of catalogues, order books execution.
5. Seasonal forecast brief and sell-in analysis
6. Monthly sell-out reports
7. Regular key TP sell-out tracking
8. Seasonal product training schedule
Requirements:
1. 3 years of product management experience in established consumer brand companies, preferable in apparel or footwear industry
2. Retail experience would be a plus
3. Work experience with international companies
4. Footwear and fashion trends, market and industry sensitive
5. Product management skills
6. Good presentation skill
7. Good communicate in constructive ways
Competencies:
1. Fluent English and Mandarin (a MUST)
2. Computer literacy – Microsoft office
3. Strong Self-development
4. Team player
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. Basic commercial sense
