Position: Manager Customs & Trade Governance China
Report to: Business Control China
Mission:
--Increase the overall Compliance level & minimize risk exposure
* Secure an adequate level of Compliance Control including broker management, internal control, post entry control etc.
--Increase efficiency, minimize import/export lead time & reduce import/export costs
* Lead and drive the development activities, including process development, in order to optimize the Customs processes and procedures.
--Improve data quality
* Manage the important area of Master Data for China including classification, CoO solicitation and FTA-management.
Responsibilities:
This function will have the responsibility to contact and keep customs compliance & trade governance competence in China and development issues towards our all Brands in China.
* Handle import- and export issues in a truly broad perspective and to suggest compliant and efficient solutions together with the team members
* Custom relevant Process setup and management
* Database Management
* Project involvement from compliance perspective and process control
* Take the interface between custom authorities and colleagues/partners on customs Audits
* Take the interface in China AEO (Rank) for all companies towards customs
* Work closely with other departments within GTO & Logistic Services as well as the Our Business areas Construction Equipment, Bus and Penta and also
* Support Brokers evaluation and audit
* Liaise with Customs Authorities (externally)/Legal (internally) on compliance issue.( Memorandum of Understanding-MoU, Customs Price Valuation etc.)
* Implement C4V program.
* Make customs assessments for all sites to support on customs processes improvement and optimization and to find potentials for customs related savings.
* Training & Education, relevant policies, regulations’ study and information study and sharing
* Represent the country in global Gov. forum

任职资格:
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Transportation, Logistics, or International Business
*At least 3 years with Customs compliance experience working with complex Customs issues and investigations
*Experience with import/export of automotive parts/manufacturing preferred.
*Knowledge of Customs and International Trade laws and regulations in China.
*Ability to translate new regulations into what Our needs to do to align with these new rules.
*Experience as a key participant in trade facilitation and safety & security focused certification programs such as Rank-A, AEO, C-TPAT, etc.
Understand customs views and how to be proactive in the dialogue with Customs authorities.
*Effective supervisory skills
*Proficiency in the English & Mandarin language is must, other languages are beneficial.
*Knowledge also essential within:
- Valuation
- HS-Classification
- FTA Rules of origin & Preference criteria
*PC skills using Microsoft office programs (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook etc.)
