Advanced Specialist Project Technical Engineer (Security Planning)

Employment – full time

Tasks

• To ensure the security related IT infrastructure got intergraded into the BMW Brilliance Automotive IT system; maintain based on the BMW Brilliance Automotive IT guideline and standards the implemented security IT System (e.g. ACC Server, Access Control Systems, CCTV, etc.); operate and manage the BMW Brilliance Automotive security network, server and database

 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement security system, integrate into BMW Brilliance Automotive IT infrastructure, estimate and launch the correction solutions to improve the existing security IT infrastructure; create the technical solution with budget plan; and prepare and present professional security system IT infrastructure presentations to internal organizations


• Work closely with internal facility planners and IT infrastructure planners and Security planner and security operation specialist; advise facility planners, architects, builders, and other construction personnel on security measures IT infrastructure techniques, and on technical specifications and standard interpretation and compliance; and monitors the implementation of security measures (also technical and mechanical devices) according to project schedules


• Coordinate with the related internal departments; and timely determine the cause of the security IT equipment malfunction, timely repair or contact the device manufacturer to repair, ensure the normal operation of equipment


• To draft the security engineering design, management, construction; to design construction drawings, technical scheme and impression drawing independently


• Attend workshops, seminars, or conferences to present or obtain information regarding security planning


• Provide consultation and advice to others: providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-related or process-related topics


• Established ability and in depth knowledge in breakdown security measures IT infrastructure


• Manages security projects: assisting with the design of security systems for new construction or renovations and assisting with the installation of same

 

Qualifications          

• University bachelor degree or above degree for knowledge of IT network or Technology of Computer Application, further education in the field of security; technical background are welcome


• Be familiar with government laws and regulations related to security


• Computer skills, PC usage in office software, Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.


• Deep knowledge of security technical and mechanical devices (Integrated electronic security management systems operations, including access control, CCTV, emergency communication, employee photo identification, master key systems. etc.); knowledge about fire prevention are welcome


• Ability to learn and apply written laws, rules, and regulations related to the work


• Communication: it is effective, timely and relevant exchange of information that is respectful of the diversity of people, and the geography and working environments of our employees; it includes receiving information, listening, understanding and responding openly and effectively in interactions with others; it also implies this information is processed into actions


• Ability to train, guide and evaluate the work of other security planners, building planners and architects


• Ability to plan, develop and conduct employee security awareness programs; methods for identification and analysis of security threats and risks


• English skills in oral and written (including technical terms concerning security)


• Analytical Thinking: understanding a situation by breaking it apart into smaller pieces, or tracing the implications of a situation in a step-by-step way; this includes organizing the parts of a problem, situation, etc., in a systematic way; making systematic comparisons of different features or aspects; setting priorities on a rational basis


• Flexibility: managing and adjusting own behaviors to work effectively in light of new information, changing situations and/or different environments and with various people; it entails understanding and appreciating difference and opposing perspective on an issue, adapting one’s approach as the requirements of a situation change; and easily accepting changes in one’s own organization or job requirements


• Teamwork and Cooperation: the intention to work cooperatively with others, to be part of a team, to work together, as opposed to working separately or competitively; for the competency to be effective, the intention should be genuine; and teamwork and cooperation may be considered whenever the subject is a member of a group of people functioning as a team


• Directly related experience in  IT infrastructure management, 4-6 Years


• Experience in creating network standards, 1-3 Years


• Experience in project management skills, 4-6 Years


• Experience in JAVA software, and familiar with SQL Server, Oracal, 1-3 Years


• Experience in design, and management of security system projects, 1-3 Years
