Advanced Specialist QM Integrator

Corporate Division Strategy & Logistics
Division, located in Shenyang/China
Employment – full time

Tasks

• One of the main task of the sub-department "production strategy" is the steering of relevant Technology & Manufacturing related committees to ensure a high level of quality and transparence in collaboration with the respective AG departments on to the production network of BMW Brilliance Automotive in Shenyang


• Coordination of the topics for the committees including Board meetings (BoM, Invest Committee, BoD) within Technology & Manufacturing, setting up presentation towards the management at Technology & Manufacturing to optimize the preparation processes will amongst others be the main scope of this position


• Another important part is the coordination of the risk management in the production organization; and doing so the function will be dealing with all major business departments (joint venture strategy, production technologies, controlling, human resources, purchasing etc.)


• The steering of regular updates of the monthly reports to the external shareholders is an additional task

Key Responsibilities

• Align and coordinate all Technology & Manufacturing related departments for the specific input to board meeting BOM


• Coordination of the complete risk management process in Technology & Manufacturing in alignment with relevant BMW AG counterpart


• Optimization of existing committee processes and alignment with relevant BMW Brilliance Automotive internal partners


• Support of the preparation process within Technology & Manufacturing for the Board meetings (IC, BoD)

Qualifications

• Master degree of automobile engineering, mechanic engineering, electrics / electronics, economics and engineering or other equivalent majors


• Strategically thinking, General management and Leadership competence


• Fluently in English and German


• In-depth knowledge of the process chain of the BMW production technologies


• In-depth knowledge of the PEP Process and product line work processes


• Project management skills


• Capability to achieve overall agreements between local technologies, the plants requirements and BMW AG departments


• Distinctive assertiveness, ability to work under pressure; secure / positive manner in expose with suppliers; and top management, that is, good standing internal and external network


• Moderation-, Presentation skills incl. preparation of decision memos


• Several years in Production, Engineering and Quality functions, 4-6 Years


• BMW Quality philosophies, targets and quality techniques, 1-3 Years


• Leading of project in cross-functional environment, 1-3 Years
