PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Responsible for the process execution on a daily basis
2. Responsible for monitoring the performance of the process
· Purchase & Sales or
· Client Support or
· Settlement Controls or
· Fails Management
3. Responsible for assisting analysts on a daily basis
4. Responsible for processing complex transactions
5. Responsible for tracking daily performance metrics and devise measures to improve the same
6. Liaise with SCM for sourcing / recruitment.
7. Responsible for implementing tools and methods as per internal WBPO requirements
8. Focus on stabilizing the process and meeting customer expectation
9. Provide performance feedback to analysts
10. Act as a point of contact between analysts and management
11. Assist with training and identifying training needs within the group
12. Mentor and guide the existing team and assist the new hires






CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED



1. Strong knowledge of the securities industry
Experience in:
· settlements area of a brokerage or at a custodian bank;or
· brokerage industry trade administration and clearance or
· interacting with clients and agencies such as exchanges or
· a back office functions of bank, custodian or a brokerage firm

2. Strong interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work and communicate with people
4. Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plans
5. Strong analytical skills with an ability to problem solve with a win-win negotiation approach
6. Advanced knowledge of PC technology-DOS, applications and on-line tools
7. Expert knowledge of service procedures
8. Excellent Customer facing skills and ability to build rapport with clients
9. Knowledge of Customer's culture
10. Excellent English written and spoken communication skills
11. No Mother tongue influence (MTI) in speech/ diction






CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION



1. Graduate or post graduate in commerce/finance (B.Com/ M.Com/ MFM/MBA Finance)
2. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in investment banking/brokerage/ custodian banking
3. Knowledge of US domestic settlement procedures would be an added advantage
4. Previous experience in a BPO or transaction processing business would be preferable, with experience in interaction with overseas clients or customers on the phone
5. Previous experience in handling a team
6. Good communication skills
7. Good interpersonal skills.
8. Good analytical skills.
9. Aptitude for understanding technology
10. Independent decision making
