Job Responsibilities:
Onsite Technical Support of Local / Region IT Service for End-user, providing the highest IT quality, being capable to understand IT issues and resolve in a timely manner. Understand the processes and the standard solutions that apply to the users' computer environment.
1. Capable to have a conversation with the user and SD to understand the issue and troubleshoot the problem. Escalated to a higher level if necessary.
2. Competency Center: Gather enough information to analyze and troubleshoot the problem (constant communication with the Service Desk Team, lead specialists, other IT Support Groups (including escalation) and research.
3. Open communication with other IT support levels to address the issue. Capable to look for solutions internally through the IT Organization and externally.
4. Participate IT implementation and enhancement project; realize the system security and authorization requirements with related software solutions.
5. Be capable to train new hires to the level where they are at. Being as well able to take 'on-the-job' training, apply it and document as required.
6. Be familiar with the approved suppliers via Catalog or to address it to the corresponding group that is responsible for (e.g. Asset Management, Client Devices, SRM Catalogs, etc.)
Job Requirements:
1. University or Bachelor Degree or above is required for the position, Must be a team worker and have good communication, presentation, negotiation and influence skills
2. More than 3 years related Professional Field Experience is desirable. The position should suffice with a technical diploma or similar in Information Technologies (has to have a knowledge of Computer terminologies or Computer Science. CCNA is required.
3. 3-5 years Customer Service Experience would be a plus (not required). Candidate must have the following skills for the job: patience, customer service oriented, flexible, collaboration, teamwork, being able to be supervised remotely, etc.)
4. 3 years’ experience in Multi-national company. Have the communication capability to support users across OSRAM region.
