职位描述：
Supply Chain/Procurement Mgmt: Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Title: Global Commodity Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
?Develop and execute global mechanical commodity strategies.
?Be recognized as global subject matter expert and provide sourcing and thought leadership and act as change agent across the organization.
?Work closely with Engineering team to influence technical design decisions to meet expectations, technical capabilities and business objectives
?Manage and lead supplier selection process, supplier relationships and ongoing supplier performance and improvement via robust use of supplier scorecard.
?Set and achieve all performance metrics for assigned suppliers and commodities.
?Ensure that project goals, schedules and performance requirements are achieved.
?Secure most favorable supplier contracts and agreements to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
?Manage ongoing supplier cost, quality, delivery, technology alignment, and service.
?Maintain detailed understanding of supplier capabilities, industry trends and market conditions.
?Proactively share and leverage best practices across the Sourcing organization.
?Manage supply base consolidation analysis, planning and implementation.
?Ensure company and regulatory policy compliance.

Knowledge and Experience:
?Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
?Experience with Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical(Enclosures, Metals, Plastics, Keypad, Casting, Connectors, Switches, Cables, Die-cuts, Fasteners, Packaging) commodities
?8+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a high-tech environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
?8+ years of direct experience in supplier / supply chain management
?Strong supplier relationships and track record of results within assigned category.
?Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools
?Experience working independently and part of geographically dispersed organization.
?Extensive experience with global contracts, price negotiations, and analysis.
?Fluent English and Chinese in speaking and writing.
?Knowledge and experience with use of a major ERP system such as Oracle, Agile, etc.
?Experience with Microsoft Office

 

Preferred Qualifications:
?Master’s degree
?Strong analytical skills (i.e. Should Cost Modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection)
?Exceptional ability to solve problems and coordinate with global team members
?Extensive negotiation experience with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
?Excellent written and verbal communications skills
?Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems
?Knowledge of Agile highly desirable
?Ability to travel approximately 20%.
