Regional Sales Manager
Location: Shenzhen, China
? This position reports to Vice President, APAC Sales and Marketing. Finisar is an equal opportunity employer offering competitive compensation and benefits, and a collaborative working environment.

Job Responsibilities

? Managing all customers in Southern China including key account ZTE.
? Drive revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction for all accounts in the region.
? Manage regular forecast of customer demand; Monitor supply and demand trend; Capture customer demand upside by negotiating with the customer and mobilizing internal resources.
? Work closely with FAE, CQE PLM, inside sales and factory to resolve technical, quality and commercial issues with the customers.
? Manage and support Finisar’s rep firms and distributors operating in the territory.
? Collect customer requirements on Finisar’s products, and drive new product introduction plans for the customer.
? Gather, interpret and communicate competitive situation to internal organizations.
? Must be able to travel at least 30% of the time, including inside and outside of China as needed.
? Practice absolute conformance to Finisar policies including commitment to ethical conduct.

Skills/Qualifications

? Bilingual in Chinese and English. Strong skills in written (proposals, memos) and verbal (listening, making presentations) communications.
? Technical skills as related to optical components, transceivers and modules, and their use in customer’s systems.
? Understanding customer’s business and technical drivers, and proactively use this knowledge in the sales process.
? Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills; Ability to develop deep, and lasting relationship with both the customers and internal colleagues.
? Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
? Must be flexible with business travel and conference calls that may occur outside the normal working hours.
? 3+ years of sales-related experience in the IC, optics, networking system and subsystem businesses.
? BS degree in electrical engineering, physics or related field is required, graduate and MBA degrees are a plus.
