JOB PURPOSE

  • To actively lead and manage the Shenzhen and Dongguan branch field sales team (field sales, and inside sales.
  • To deliver agreed portfolio targets through the development of existing and new customers to ensure achievements of volume and gross profit targets (TEU,CBM, TON, GP).
  • To conduct selling activities in accordance with cluster and regional sales management guidelines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of sales to identify and develop high potential accounts in designated market segments.
  • Develop and maintain proper sales channels in order to achieve sales targets for the respective trades.
  • Manage and accountable for team and individual performance based on Volume and GP in SPMS (Sales Performance Management System).
  • Prepare forecast and budget for each individual sales and branch.
  • Liaise with K+N overseas office and cooperate with branch/cluster/regional product managers to drive a dedicated development program.
  • Expand the scope of sales activities in line with global, regional, national and local management directives as well as own initiatives.
  • Ensure self and team is timely updating sales activities utilizing KN's internal sales CRM tool (Corelog).
  • Ensure service reliability via excellent support and solidify customer relationship to achieve business growth.
  • Ensure that all complaints are handled efficiently and professionally in accordance with KN standards.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential hires to meet company targets (Volume, GP, ROI).
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
  • This person will have individual targets, and is required to gain new business with strategic accounts that will be managed by him/her
  • To ensure proper transitioning /onboarding of customers to operations in line with customer requirements and internal procedures.
  • To focus on new business development (target 30% of volumes per annual results).

REQUIREMENT

  • University degree or above, majored in Business Administration / Logistics is preferred.
  • With above 5 years’ sales experience in logistics / forwarder industry, and at least 2 years in solid management with direct leadership position. Above 5 years in Air/Sea Logistics is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead the sales department.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good command in English communication, both in written and spoken. Mandarin and Cantonese are required.
  • Energetic, aggressive and self-motivated.
  • raveling is required and willing to work under pressure.
  • Capability of professional handling of complaints expressed by the customer, consequential actions on team member whenever required.
  • Being able to deal with confrontations concerning the prevention of business lose and to maintain / improve unfavorable customer relationships.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problem.
