Job Description

Reporting to the Global Product Marketing Manager for High Speed I/O Connectors, the Asia Product Line Manager will work with cross-functional teams that are charged with developing and marketing Amphenol’s next generation of High Speed I/O products. This role will be responsible for increasing Amphenol HSIO presence and execute product strategies to rapidly grow the business. The candidate must be versatile, with a good blend of business acumen and technical savvy, and a quick learner with the ability to shoulder new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

The Product Line Manager will also work closely with customers and field sales teams to identify requirements and market trends. In addition, the role requires close contact with product marketing, engineering and operations counterparts to define product release requirements and guide project timelines. The Product Specialist is also responsible for defining the west coast go-to-market strategy, helping the field teams understand the positioning, benefits, and target customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Help define product strategy, go-to market plan and roadmap for Amphenol HSIO

· Work with cross-functional teams to proactively identify product and solution gaps, define market requirements

· Proactively presenting/evangelizing the Amphenol HISO portfolio to the field and the customers

· The candidate must think and act as a business owner with ability to forecast bookings/revenues, understand product P&L, pricing strategies, perform Competitive analysis, and evaluate key capital investment ROI

· This position requires local and international travel for customer visits, field engagements and product development meetings

Desired Skills & Experience

· Technical knowledge of the connector industry. Preferred: knowledge of relevant standards (Infiniband, Fiber Channel, SAS, Ethernet)

· Knowledge of customer base in China, Taiwan and other parts of Asia

· English language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills are required

· The candidate must be well organized, self-motivated and capable of seeing projects through to completion

· Experience working with engineering, sales, marketing, customer advocacy and operations organizations

· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical marketing or product management

· Bachelor’s degree required (technical degree preferred) Additional business degree is desirable 举报 分享
