职位描述：
Business Development Account Manager - China, reports to
Global VP – Sales & Marketing/General Manager China.
Summary: The Business Development Account Manager (China) - “Voice of Certus for the customers visiting Certus China” Champion and support onsite all customer visits and RFQ requests in China.
 
Functions and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the Global Sales and Program Management teams by championing customer visits, audits, etc. onsite in China at our manufacturing/tooling locations.
2. Translate and facilitate conversations during customer visits and document accordingly for global Certus team.
3. Support the VP of Sales and the Costing Manager in getting the partners to hit competitive RFQ cost and timing targets.
4. Process and respond to RFQ requests in conjunction with Certus Sales counterparts in NA and EU.
5. Build long-term customer relations and internal relations with the partners in China.
6. Champion Sales/Commercial open issues deck in China.
7. Gather and communicate information on customers, market, products and competitor activity.
8. Frequent Travel is required inside of China.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (Must have) :
1. Fluent in English (Spoken/Written)
2. Ability to interact effectively with the customer.
3. Five to 10 years progressive automotive experience.
4. Background in: sales, engineering, program management and manufacturing.
5. Strong organization and communication skills, good follow-through and attention to detail.
6. Advanced interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to effectively prioritize and manager numerous activities.
8. Highly results-oriented; self-starter that is self-managed and self-motivated.
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

COMPETENCIES DESIRED (Nice to have):
1. Plastics and Chrome Plating knowledge/experience is a plus.
2. Established contacts at Tier I suppliers and OEM’s would be a plus.
