职位描述：
Duties:
- Develop new formulations to support LF Beauty business expansion, which will cover color cosmetics, personal care, hair care, skin care, oral care, and fragrances categories;
- Lead a team with 16 people in China and 15 people in Thailand;
-Drive the overall strategic plan for R&D to ensure the timely implementation of all agreed plans to achieve R&D Operational excellence through effective: R&D Facility and Formulation Development; Project Management; Process Alignment and Improvement; People Management;
- Develop the R&D teams, ensuring functional excellence and overall formulation development expertise while building organizational capabilities;
- Interface regularly with customers, suppliers, internal functions in both LF Asia Manufacturing and LF Beauty;
- In conjunction with Business Development departments of LF Beauty strive to achieve new Business opportunities that will enhance both the profitability and reputation of the Manufacturing business;
- Establish, maintain and strengthen a close business relationship with customers, key government agencies, and international compliances bodies;
- To shape, recruit, build, develop and coach the R&D teams on all key aspects of work performance, and where appropriate recommend development plans promotion or further improvement in areas of poor performance;
- To ensure development of the Asian R&D teams to a high standard of operational efficiency and safety so as to ensure that company can attract and retain world class clients;
- Ensure that the new formulations are fully compliant with all Laws and Regulations governing business operations.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Photochemistry, or Biotechnology Science;
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience in product development and design in beauty and cosmetic industry , with At least 5 years working experience in a senior management role;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with fluency in written and spoken English;
- Knowledge of cosmetics formulation/raw materials required, and knowledge of R&D instruments & equipment;
- Working knowledge of FDA, Formulation Design and Critical Parameter Management;
