Job Description

Eaton Corporation, Vehicle Group, Truck Business has an opening for Service Engineer, which will be located in Beijing.

This incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective service system to serve customers. He/she will work with customers to provide on time service, and forcefully communicate customer’s voice through the organization in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

The main job responsibilities are:
1.Provide on-time service for customers and manage warranty activities, including repair or replacement of failure parts, improve lead-time of warranty repairs.
2.Support issue identification, problem resolution, and implementation of field strategies and communication to field service team and OEM dealer.
3.Manage and support current Eaton dealers, identify and develop new dealers.
4.Provide technical support and training for OEM, dealers, end users and service stations.
5.Document and maintain all information of warranty failures record, Provide product improvement input for transmission and clutch design based on the warranty failures.
6.Manage spare parts inventory
7.Help the service manager to improve the dealer certification process and customer satisfaction improvement.
8.Help the service manager to improve the warranty procedures.
9.Competitive data collection.
10.CRR feedback.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)1.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related area.
2.Min. 5 years related working experience.
3.Knowledge of Chinese automotive, bus, truck, and equipment component markets
4.Technical or engineering degree, and corresponding understanding of engineering principles (mechanical and electrical)
5.Good knowledge of powertrain, harness.
6.Strong customer relations management and project management skills with respect to engineering team.
7.Knowledge of truck and bus markets,
8.Experience in service.
9.Measurement tools skill (CANalyzer and/or CANape, etc), AutoCAD skill.
