Job Requirement:
· University degree, preferably in an Finance/Tax related area
· CPA, BAR or CTP (China Tax Practitioner) qualification is preferred but not mandatory
· Eight years relevant tax experience in an international company or as a tax consultant in a prominent (international) tax firm preferably with a few years in a managerial role
· Strong knowledge and experience in direct or indirect tax laws and practices across multiple jurisdictions in China
· Ability to evaluate tax risks, balance risk with business objectives and make recommendations that are objective, practical, technically appropriate in support of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
· To provide corporate and commercially responsive (direct and indirect) tax advice to FD of CHINA IE;
· To be primary point of contact for all inquiries from Tax function of F&A shared service for any matter in CHINA IE and to pro-actively report all relevant material tax matters relating to CHINA IE to the head of tax function of F&A shared service;
· To participate in negotiations with tax authorities on any tax matters of CHINA IE; effectively handle all kinds of tax and TP audits
· To actively manage and resolve major tax claims and disputes for CHINA IE where required in order to prevent / reduce risks
· To ensure tax returns are properly prepared and timely submitted across all entities in CHINA IE
· To ensure Transfer Pricing (TP) Documentation requirements of CHINA IE are met with endorsement from external advisor
· High quality tax accounting work to make sure that current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are truthfully, fairly and completely accounted for
· Track and trace tax risks, write relevant tax memos and improve the control and efficiency of the tax processes
· To identify tax planning opportunities and engage people to implement the plans with tangible tax savings
· To co-ordinate the provision of tax services to CHINA IE by both In-House and external tax advisors in a cost efficient manner including a maintenance of a management and reporting framework;
· To actively support and participate in (where required) relevant CHINA IE initiatives to ensure that the initiative leaders receive quality tax advice assisting them to meet their goals;
· Quick adaptation to changes in tax laws or business models with change management plans and cost effective solutions
· Provide trainings to CHINA IE on a regular basis
