Unit/Department Description:
The Global Sourcing Value Management Team as part of Sourcing is a regional support function providing strategic support to achieve sourcing targets, improve our suppliers and enhance the relationships to them.

Position/Job Description:
The objective of this challenging position is the continuous improvement of Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Total Cost of our suppliers. We work together as a global team with local responsibilities. Our tasks always have a project character with a strong relation to the commodity managers’ strategy.

Essential Duties:
Strategic Sourcing Support for Husqvarna Division.
Preparation and execution of Workshops for Process- and Cost optimization at our supplier sites, e.g. Lean-, Set up-, Value Stream- and Value Engineering-Workshops
Follow up of the Workshops (Reporting, Documentation, Implementation)
Highlight cost-potentials and secure implementation in collaboration with the Sourcing team
Pre- and post-calculation (Cost Indications) for the various workshops
Analyze and highlight development inhibiting topics at our Suppliers (e.g. Quality- and Process related) and active support for consistent further development of our supply base
Implementation of “Lean“- Methods with our suppliers
Strategic local alignment with all relevant internal stakeholders like Quality, Production, Sourcing, R&D to determine focus suppliers / products and establish roadmaps to fulfill their specific needs

Preferred qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Production Related Area or relevant field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in 2 of the following areas: Production / Quality / Sourcing
Preferred
Master’s Degree
Experience in different Production Methods especially for electric parts production
Languages:
Fluent Mandarin is required (written and oral).
Fluency in English is required (written and oral), in other language is an advantage.

Teamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally with customers and externally with suppliers.
Strong Knowledge in the area of Lean Methods and Value Stream
Strong analytical skills, including a demonstrated ability to synthesize, interpret, and implement findings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to moderate Workshops
Negotiation skills and competence in strategic thinking
Strong organization and problem solving skills.
Intercultural competence
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to changes, unexpected events and/or internal processes.
Proficiency at the intermediate to experienced level in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary company information.
