Advanced Specialist University Coordinator

Corporate Division Corporate HR & HR Strategy
Division, located in Shenyang/China
Employment – full time

Tasks

• To ensure the smooth set-up and implementation of university cooperation with BBA. And maintain regular partnership and contact with universities, and establish high-level contacts
  
  
  
  

  Key Responsibilities



• Acts as local and central contact for all issues relating to the university cooperation in question; maintains regular contact and establishes high-level contacts


• Key Contact for universities collaborating with the BMW Brilliance Automotive


• Act as enabler to maintain existing partnerships with universities


• Assists with organization with several specialist department representatives


• Works with BMW Brilliance Automotive –Public Relations to draw up measures facilitating access to decision-makes


• Represents BMW Brilliance Automotive on local level, also by offending university reception


• Establishes initial contact with strategic university partners


• Defines and verifies selection criteria for universities and framework conditions for collaborations


• Moderates, prepares and follows up Steering Committee and LOPs


• Draws up recommendations for agreement/adjustment of strategic partnership


• Consolidates final list of research fields; details research projects and identifies suitable professors / departments at the university in question


• Checks quality of research project together with Research Field Coordinator of Technology, and prepares templates, methods and tools as part of university partnership


• Strong support of KAM and Mentor in all university related topics, enables clarification of potential conflicts that may arise on a general level in the project
  

  Qualifications



• Ensures trouble-free running of university partnership on local level


• Understands the “big picture” of the strategic focus


• Keeps overview of ongoing and planned collaborations with partner universities


• Validates processes planned for university partnership


• Requests use of specified templates, methods and tools


• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with a high level of motivation and initiative


• Proficient English


• Analytical mind with a positive attitude, willing to work under pressure and tight deadline


• Background in national higher education field,4-6 Years


• Experience with corporate - university and university cooperation,1-3 Years
