THE ROLE
This is a highly digital role. All account management, process and reporting must be operated through deployment of systems and digital platforms. Candidates must demonstrate technological acumen and an ability to quickly acclimate to new digital platforms.
End-to-End profit and loss responsibility for the French market retail accounts and consumers.
Lead, plan, develop and manage the functions of sales, sales operations and trade marketing; deliver sales growth, margin targets, marketing plans, after-sales excellence, effective and efficient operations and sustainability plans and programs.
Liaising with global functions to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), including category management to promote the Brand and the entire range of products and services.
Responsible for ensuring all Company policies, procedures, guidelines and systems are effectively implemented, adhered to, maintained and monitored.
Promote, instill and maintain a brand-based sales culture and a culture of excellence and performance.
Ensure the Maclaren Brand is promoted fully with its integrity maintained.
Collaborate with Marketing Services to ensure that all multi-year plans for Strategic Accounts have been implemented, executed and managed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales
- Acting as the point of contact for designated Accounts? - Apply “Know Your Customer” principles
- Sales (Target-based on Revenue and Gross Margin)
- Collaborate with other Strategic Accounts Managers in servicing those accounts
- Ensure all multi-year plans for Strategic Accounts are implemented, executed and managed throughout the year
- Reporting based on targets, KPIs and metrics
- Market analysis and benchmarking on competitors and market trends
- Identify opportunities to develop business and increase sell-through
- Develop initiatives (Sales Events :: Retail Initiatives)
Sales Operations
- End-to-End responsibility for Sales Order Processing, from Order Receipt to Fulfilment to Invoicing
- Customer Accounts Receivables, Customer Credit, Returns, Charge-backs, and Credit Notes
- Ensure the finest financial stewardship of the account
- Retailer EDI function
- Operate and Service all accounts on the Trade Account Portal
Sales Forecasting and Inventory Reporting
- Regular Sales Forecasting pursuant to the Sales and Demand Planning protocol
- Reporting customer pipeline inventory levels and “sell-through” information by retailer
Trade Marketing Support
- Trade Marketing with emphasis on POS environment and activities
- Implement retailer marketing plans including POS and Merchandising, Product Training and Sales Training
- All Events, Demos, and Retailer Conclaves
- Ensure regular distribution of marketing materials and collateral
Customer Service and After-Sales
- Customer Service and After Sales (Retailers and Consumers)
- Service Centre Network Operations
- Reverse Logistics and Warranty related matters
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Team and Retailers to promote the Brand locally and for synergistic marketing opportunities with retail customers through their own social media channels
- Consumer Services and servicing all consumer enquiries and needs, including support of Customer Service Team and Social Media Team
THE PERSON:
Enthusiastic :: Energetic :: Organised :: “Can Do” Culture :: Positive Attitude
- 5+ years of relevant experience in brands, sales and marketing
- Ability to develop new business
- Experience in working in a flat structure within a matrix organisation
- Direct experience working with ERP and CRM systems
- Outstanding communication skills
- Languages: Native in Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Fluent in English. Additional languages preferred.
TRAVEL: As required and estimated at 75% of the time
