Position Description
Job title: PLM Administration Assistant
Location: Shanghai, PRC
Reporting: Senior Manager, Factory programs
Status: Contractor (Full time) IC3 equivalent
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
? Utilize PDM systems and Engineering Change Management to manage PLM databases.
? Support China based PLM related work included:
o Support engineer work for ECR/ECO documentation in Arena, release for execution and upload the completed reports.
o Support GSM in supplier world maintenance.
o Offer Arena training to China based new hire and supplier/CM users. Act as interface between China based users and Arena administrator in US.
o Daily follow up actions with individual owners in following CHANGE effectivity at Arena system.
o Work closely with Manufacturing team, Supply Chain Management as well all Engineering.
? Support factory program managers’ daily operations.
Qualifications:
? 3+ years’ experience either on product data management, configuration management, documentation control or engineering service.
? Knowledge of Product Documentation Management, Engineering Change process.
? Strong ability in English and Chinese communication.
? Familiar to use all Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
? Education in engineering background, bachelor’s degree or above.
