Your challenge

? Work closely with two authorized Contract Manufacturers making unique hardware solutions to satisfy rapidly growing worldwide demand from the data center and IT industry

? Maintain regular communication for high level activities on a weekly basis to management

? Manage relationship with Contract Manufacturers and a select number of key approved suppliers while maintaining strict quality standards

Your team

? You will report directly to Operations team in Canadian headquarters

? You will provide onsite management oversight for the China based quality, logistics and technical teams (team size is 7)

? You will work with China and Canada project teams to meet delivery timelines

Your Responsibilities

? Facilitate communications and coordinate priorities with China team resources

? Ensure that quality initiatives are top priority while maintaining all operations are compliant with ISO Certification, Material Origin Restrictions, RoHS, REACH as applicable

? Manage supply planning process to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue realization and asset utilization

? Coordinates demand and supply, working closely with Markets, such that worldwide availability of products is optimized

? Manages the factory inventory strategy to minimize waste without risking delivery

? Manages team planning and order management team towards achieving their goals

? Manages (approves) the Contract Manufacturer’s authorized supply chain for bill of materials and negotiates material conversion costs with CM.

? Responsible to ensure robust and compliant processes are utilized.

? Coordinates assurance of supply issues to ensure clear communication, rapid execution, and timely resolution

? Manages phase-in/phase-out product activities in close coordination with cross-functional Product Introduction teams to ensure effective and efficient execution

? Responsible for defined set of performance metrics including on-time delivery and inventory

? Supervises, selects, develops, and coaches site Supply Chain team members

We are looking for

? Education: Bachelor/Master of Science degree or Engineering degree. MBA preferred.

? Experience: More than 10yrs work experience in Hardware Manufacturing/Supply Chain field, with 5+ years of managerial role and proven track record in Competencies and skills. Experience in Sales & Operations Planning is a plus, preferably within an environment recognized for S&OP maturity, such as sizable manufacture in Multinational Companies.

Demonstrated capability to lead teams and work with global team members, Demonstrated ability to provide development opportunities for key members of team Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with various levels of the organization, proven track record of working effectively with Business leaders and/or Market leaders Proven strategic and operational thinking skills, demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and Lean methodologies, Good project management experience Strong knowledge and familiarity with external market, including customer needs, supply base, and best practices in industry Good English and Chinese Language skills is a must.
