Unit/Department Description:

The APAC Legal Team is responsible for providing Legal Affairs support to all business units within the Asia-Pacific Region.

Position/Job Description:
In conjunction with the Vice President Legal this role will be responsible for conducting mandatory regional compliance and legal training, providing contractual assistance and providing assistance to business units on risk management matters.
Essential Duties:
? Contracts: Assist with the establishment of a regular contract review process, including but not limited to drafting contract templates, reviewing and revising existing contracts, and negotiating contract terms
? Sourcing Contract Management: Establish a sourcing contract management process, provide recommendations and support for the improvement of signing coverage and management of sourcing contracts
? Risk Control: Provide support to the business units in Labour, Intellectual Property, and other legal matters, and co-ordinate the services of external counsel as required
? Compliance: Provide compliance and legal training to the countries in the APAC region, and provide assistance on compliance investigations, taking the lead where required.
? Actively drive and participate in a culture committed to maintaining a healthy workplace consistent with company policy and individual well-being, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and the Husqvarna Code of Conduct. The Legal and Compliance Manager shall act in accordance with the groups policies, demonstrate loyalty, and up hold a duty of care at all times.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
? Law degree from an accredited Chinese law School
? LL.M. (or equivalent) from a Western Law School is advantageous
? Minimum of six (6) years professional experience in a law firm and/ or in-house Counsel role
? Experience working with European or American multinational companies is advantageous
? Experience working in a matrix management organization will be highly regarded
? Native mandarin speaker with fluency in verbal and written English, Japanese fluency is preferred
? Strong contract drafting skills
