Be a member of the Global Sony Electronics security incident management team, and one of the core
members of the security incident management team of the China region. The role is two-fold
1. (Project - Security Incident Management – Design, implement, relationships) – As part of both the
global and China security incident management team, assist with the design, implementation and
further maturing of the global technical incident management and endpoint security toolset within
China, including the associated operational processes. Build relationships with various technical
teams of local sites, ensure appropriate knowledge transfer is performed and act as the main liaison
between central teams and local China teams. You will be a member of a team which will be the first
point of escalation contact for relevant operational issues and security incidents within the region.
2. (BAU - Incident management – Identify, Respond, Mitigate to incidents) - Take full ownership of
security issues occurring within the China region. Ensure clear understanding of the issues and timely
response by performing appropriate task delegation + follow-up to various sites and IS teams within China

? Able to self-control working day in an environment with a lot of freedom

? Follow-up on dependencies of other sites and departments and put pressure where necessary to
achieve goal
Technical skills
? Minimum 5 years in security operations, or IT (support) operations with good exposure to
technical IT or security controls (network, server, client, web, access control, email)
? Strong system engineering base (mainly WINTEL server and client, but also some Linux)
? Has worked in a role where there is a requirement to be regularly on duty / on call, using different
levels of tickets and associated response times
? Good understanding of network concepts; routing, switching, transport/application layer protocols
? Worked in a large enterprise environment (thousands of assets + surrounding security controls)
