Job Description
- To provide general legal advice, support and services with respect to daily business matters and in projects/transactions to business groups (including manufacturing plants) and functional departments in mainland China, e.g. sourcing/OEM activities, office lease, making claims to suppliers for quality issues, customer claims and labor disputes etc.
- To support the effort to optimize the company’s legal structure, conditions, and way of working to enable the maximum realization of business objectives;
- To support the effort to identify, prevent/minimize, and respond to legal and compliance risks;
- To support the GBP Compliance Officers in the education, implementation, and enforcement of the Philips General Business Principles;
- As a member of the Greater China Legal team, work on legal department continuous improvement projects to develop legal best practices.
- Be flexible in work scope and organizational changes to provide needed legal support to meet business needs, as assigned.
