- Responsible for implementing components of the SER audit management process, including audit report and CAPA plan review/approvals; following up on evidence and CAPA verifications with suppliers, factories and service providers; and sending notifications to related business teams.
- Support SER audit/verification scheduling with sourcing, supplier and service provider teams.
- Conduct unannounced audits to active factories to detect and eliminate potential risk in the supply chain.
- Support monthly re-audit process by consolidating the information from the system, sourcing teams, and GOMs.
- Support the overall service provider management program, to include conducting check-the checker audits, tracking, training, monitoring and guiding SER audits and CAPA management process, joining weekly review meeting etc. to ensure service providers deliver quality of work as well as agreed service level.
- Assist with special case investigations and reporting.
- Responsible for conducting factory pre-qualifications and providing technical support at business request for PLR, OTB, etc.
- Assist with the monthly on-site SER supplier seminars and cross-functional supplier orientation / training. Maintain records for these events.
- Execute supplier performance metrics and relevant data analysis to Social and Environmental Responsibility Program.
- Train/educate suppliers/factories on THD’s SER guidelines and clarify their questions on SER procedures/requirements.
- Provide feedback on SER program enhancement.
- Bachelor Degree in/or Political Science, Law, Environmental Affairs, International Business, Public Policy.
- Must possess strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills to ensure effective, responsive interaction (internal and external).
- Proven Social and Environmental Responsibility auditing skills & experience in the fields of Social Audit & Factory Evaluation.
- Experience in training on Social and Environmental Responsibility desirable.
- Proficiency in labor laws and other legal regulations pertaining to Social and Environmental Responsibility.
- Knowledge in other auditing standards, e.g. SA8000, GSCP, HACCP, BRC, ICTI, BSCI, E&HS would be an advantage.
- Excellent English verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in preparation of Social and Environmental Responsibility presentations.
- Experience in root cause analysis for Social and Environmental Responsibility noncompliance.
- Must be confident, highly efficient, and self-motivated.
- Must be personable and work well independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to foster partnerships with diverse groups and organizational levels.
- Strong quantitative business analysis with proven problem solving skills.
- Commitment to successfully complete all assigned projects in the shortest, most efficient manner.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Experience working effectively with cross function teams.
- Fluency in English.
- PC proficiency, including knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, project management, and presentation applications.
