Summary of Client:
Our client is the world's largest manufacturer of static control products, headquartered in USA, who has been providing solutions to electrostatic issues in a wide range of industries for more than 70 years.
Reporting Lines:
Report to: Production Manager
Job Summary:
Manufacturing professional with the experience overseeing daily manufacturing duties. Responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of activities of employees engaged in assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic subassemblies, components, and parts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of production workforce.
2. Participates in the transition of products from other brother factories to the China factory.
3. Responsible for training of workforce to produce these products.
4. Supervises production workforce to ensure all production plan requirements are met.
5. Computes amount of stock and supplies required for operations based on production schedules.
6. Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
7. Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
8. Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
9. Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
10. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
11. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
12. Maintain inventory within company standards.
13. Additional duties may be assigned by Production Manager.
Job Requirements:
1. Associate degree.
2. 5-7 years of production management experience in Electronics Assembly, experienced in leading a team of over 30 people.
3. Good reading & written English.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills .
5. Good planning/organizing skills and strong leadership.
6. Good problem solving skills.
7. Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Honest, trustworthy, dependable, motivated.
