PURPOSE:

The Manager, Business Apps Mgmt will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks varying form individual contributor to project manager for medium to large size projects, in order to provide business analysis and recommend / implement automated solutions in support of business processes.


Principle Accountabilities:

The Manager, Business Apps Mgmt will:
· Manage business application team and resource to support business requirements in Campus
· Responsible to meet the goals and objectives set for the projects and ensure timely deployment of Corporate, regional and site programs based on the agreed upon time lines and budget.
· Responsible to build a proactive, strategic and business Aligned IT culture by improving performance around customer and end users operations and meet the key IT metrics.
· To initiate IT Lean projects for continuous improvements and meet the users' requirements of all the six sigma lean initiatives and projects.
· Provide technical &/or project leadership for mid to large-scale projects.
· Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems requiring creative solutions.
· Initiate creative methods and collaborative problem solving.
· Develop overall project plans and action plans for meeting IT objectives and business unit solution
· Working with clients to determine technology solutions with emphasis on systems integration
· Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Requirements
· Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or its equivalent
· Minimum 12 years IT experience with 6 years' supervisory experience in IT management
· Minimum 6 years' experience of managing projects of increasing complexity and cost
· Excellent hands-on experience with ERP preferably Baan in a manufacturing environment.
· At least 6 year implementation experience on ERP and business applications.
· Strong English communication, leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
