Test Engineer (working in Hong Kong)

Key responsibilities:
? Understand new product requirement by working closely to HW development team
? Provide specification
? Develop Test SW and HW or write the specification for a 3rd party test development
? 3rd party test development management
? Participate to co-development (share development) with other Sierra Wireless SA
? Participate to product integration working closely to HW and SW teams
? Write necessary documentation
? Comply to ISO/TS applicable standards
? Install test solution in the factory and in house (HK lab) and maintain it for efficient work
? Support production / NPI (New Product Introduction)

Key requirements:
? Diploma or Degree holder with 2- 6 years relevant work experience
? Proficient in the following software languages: "C"language, Visual C++, LabWindows/CVI
? Experience in TestStand will be an advantage
? Excellent knowledge and skills in Digital and Analog Electronics. RF skill required in 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE
? Knowledge in multithread programming
? Good team spirit and has ability/willingness to work in co-development scheme with other Sierra Wireless centre and factory
? High professional ethic, self-Initiated, able to work under pressure
? SW, RF and BB knowledge/design required
? Require to travel frequently to China for factory visit and travel occasionally to France or US for co-development
? Speaking Putonghua is a plus for communication with factory
