职位描述:
The main purpose of this position includes providing China support activities for the helpdesk, facilities and corporate IT functions. While you setup and provide maintenance of the IT infrastructure at basic level. At times, providing IT project support as required by the business. Deskside and other IT support at all China offices also including 2nd level support for China users alongside other IT members in the Asia timezone.

Main area of duties include:
- Act as the local liaison between IT and the business
- Own a secondary technical skill (for example Microsoft Project SME)
- Assist end users in engaging with the help desk
- Support the help desk in providing L2 support when local support is required
- Provide L2 support for end user compute issues
- Troubleshoot and provide local support for end users
- Maintain internal user guides, guidance notes and technical documents
- Provide new starters with correct equipment and guided access to IT resources.
- Ensure leaver equipment is processed correctly
- On call/standby work during scheduled out of hours IT upgrades
- Provide vacation / holiday coverage to other in region liaisons
- Provide weekly reports to the Manager

In order to be a successful candidate:

- At least 2 years of IT experience in a professional capacity
- Excellent English speaking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills– ability to convey technical information to non technical users successfully.
- Able to juggle priorities under pressure
- Very good knowledge of Windows client software and Microsoft office.
- Desired knowledge of networking, including wifi, routers, switches, VPN.
- Secondary technical skill (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Experience in working in an agile organization that is fast moving and requires a can do attitude
- Experience in working across all levels of an organization
