Job Duties:
- Responsible for all procurement tasks in East Asia
- Manage Procurement team
- Responsible for Procurement strategy, plan and process implementation
- In charge of Supplier management program and maintaining supplier management database
- Monitor performance of procurement (KPIs, savings etc)
- Expedite sub-contractors, supplier and manufacturers
Education and qualification required:
- Technical background, major in procurement or relevant degree
- CIPS qualification (not required, but would be preferred)
Experience required:
- At least 7 -10 years in procurement, preferable in TIC company
- Experience in set up and best practices of supplier management and developing new suppliers
- Experience in best practice of establishing region wide procurement process
Special skills, mental/personality requirements:
- Strong communication skills and good English skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly motivated to set up professionalized East Asia procurement department
- Readiness to travel within Mainland China and Taiwan
- Integrity, Team Spirit, Customer Orientation, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility for Safety
