Job Objective:
This position is responsible for lead and improves ASQ North Asia revenue generation for products and services, includes revenue for conferences & exhibits, training/coaching/consulting, certification, and membership. Daily communication and interaction with both potential and existing customers and members, strategic alliances partners and suppliers. Establishes strategies and plans to expand the customer and member base and contributes to the development of ASQ service programs for clients in South China and HK.
Responsibilities:
- Builds personal relationships with key corporate accounts and key distribution channel stakeholders in order to increase sales and increase market understanding. Researches, analyzes and builds plans for new distribution channels and segment opportunities.
- Plans and implements short and long term sales goals. Assures scheduling of continuous improvement initiatives. Ensures that all sales behaviors, methodologies and techniques are consistent with ASQ Core Values.
- Acts as champion for lead generation process and maximizes return on lead management investments. Proactively develops and manages aggressive customer contact strategies. Works with and through Marketing Services to develop effective and efficient lead generation campaigns. Uses information to increase both conversion rates and the volume of ASQ sales.
- Engages Market Research, IT and Market Management in the development of customer profiling in order to increase understanding of new and existing customers, including the definition of required information.
- Assumes personal accountability for assigned channels, products and markets, including defining information requirements, analyzing results, providing monthly feedback to the GM, Market Managers and rest of the organization. Works collaboratively across the organization to maximize achievement of key company sales and marketing business metrics and initiatives.
- Gets results; internal expert on ASQ customers and distribution channels.
- Product and service knowledge master; know and understand products and services well enough to train external parties
- Expert knowledge of ASQ competitors.
- Ensures sales techniques and processes are optimized for results and fit with ASQ business plans.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to understanding of customer, and dynamic market/business and requirements
- Capable to study and learn from previous experience and lessons to fulfill the needs of members as well as organization
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related subjects.
- 5 years experiences in sales / market communications and development, including more than 2 year management experiences
- Excellent communications skills, fluent in both verbal and written Chinese and English
- Able to demonstrate responsibility, accountability, commitment as well as team work and enthusiasm, work independently, result-oriented, multi-tasking required
- Good understanding and relationship with different types of public media
- Travel required per business need. Developmental channels, markets and new product launches may require more travel.
- ASQ Members or Certified ASQ professional, experience in brand development or membership organization will be preferred
